안녕하새요!

When I was young, I was a sucker for cute things. I had my toys and things mostly in blue and pink. Each of us gets attracted to cute things, even just when its colorful. Believe it or not, my clothing rack was full of colorful animated shirts (mostly patrick the starfish) when I was still in college. I’d fall for Patrick the Starfish shirts in department stores and would totally purchase them right away. I can’t even imagine how I looked like wearing those t-shirts. Remember the year of colorful skinny jeans? Imagine yourself rocking it with a patterned colorful t-shirt. What an actual mess!

When I started internship, I started to realize that being monochrome is the best. I organized my things and sorted my clothes out. I gave out my colorful and patterned shirts. My cabinet was purely monochrome by then, mostly black and white with a hint of gray and blue. Being monochrome, never goes out of style. It looks clean and elegantly simple. I know, it’s hard to ditch all your colorful tees and flannel shirts. I gave out mine to my cousins and friends (i still have some tho).

There is nothing special about this outfit tbh, I just want to brag about how good I looked with this (well, at least in my eyes lmao). My jeans and creepers are from ukay (a super real steal) and I can’t tell you by words how wonderful they are.  My jeans are stretchy and it feels like new, which I think it is because it comes with a price tag with it’s brand name. It has no fuzz balls between the inner thighs and on the other parts of the jeans. My creepers are still super shiny despite being dumped in that shoe rack for idek how many years. It has no creases or dents. It doesn’t even smell bad, the insoles are still intact, the platform isn’t damage and the inner lining was also still shiny. They were all on a superior condition.

Please excuse my peace sign pose, I couldn’t help it. I blame Lee Taeil on this. This is my first fashion post that’s actually about me. I was a bit hesitant on posting this because I looked awkward  with my tired eyes and lame poses (i am just awkward). I just want to say that I am going to make a thrift haul in my upcoming posts. I want to show you  the gems I found on ukays. Y’all gotta wait for that shit!

      1. There are some charities that collect from your door, then sell the clothes overseas, tapos percentage lang ang sa charity and the rest is profit. Pero yung mga local charity shops, balik lahat sa charity, including siguro yung operation costs ng shop. Meron ding ibang groups (not charities) that offer to buy your old clothes/shoes by the kilo.
